1.5K swimming event is an open water swimming race planned as a single tour within Aya Yorgi Cove. Racer shall swim through the barge numbered (1) first and they shall go through the barge numbered (2) which is out of the cove after they turn from the right of the first barge. The racers shall turn from the right of the second barge again and reach to the finish point.
Sea temperature is expected to be 18-20°C in Çeşme in September. No wet-suits shall be used. The sea is expected to be calm in Aya Yorgi, which is a closed cove. The conditions might change around the second barge located out of the cove. Race committee has the right to make changes on the course according to weather conditions.
